OK0NS & OK0NSU - Packet Radio Network nodes (see also photogalery here)

We (Radek, OK2XDX & Pavel, OK2UCX) are building and maintaing two nodes - basic building stone of the world wide amateur digital wireless network - Packet Radio. One is called OK0NS (temporary callsign was OK0NRS from 30.7.1995 till 27.7.1998), placed on top of Suchy vrch, Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic, its altitude is about 992 m asl. Second OK0NSU is down in the valley, in Sumperk (30km from Suchy vrch hill) and provides access for local users.

Each node consists of digital part (RMNC/FlexNet is a multiprocessor system with 8-bit Motorola MC6809) and analogue parts - transceivers for communication with other link partners and users.

Currently OK0NS has links with:
OK0NH in Holice, Eastern Bohemia (9600Bd, 70cm)
SP6KBL in Klodzsko, Poland (14400Bd, 70cm)
OK0NO at Velky Javornik, Beskydy, Eastern Moravia (9600Bd, 70cm)
OK0NSR at Serak hill, Jeseniky, Western Moravia (9600Bd, 70cm) - former QTH of OK0NRS
OK0NSU in Sumperk, Western Moravia (9600Bd, 70cm) - second node we maintain.
OK0NRH in Olomouc, Central Moravia (9600Bd, 70cm)
OK0NK in the middle of Moravia (19200Bd fullduplex, 23cm)

OK0NHR near Rychnov nad Kneznou, Eastern Bohemia (38400Bd, 23cm) [currently under construction]

9600Bd G3RUH/DF9IC user access is available at 433.750MHz OK0NS TX and 439.750 OK0NS RX!

NO 144MHz USER ACCESS AT OK0NS is provided today!

For user connection there is a special port on 144.975MHz running 1200Bd Bell-202 AX.25 access on OK0NSU.
There's also 9600Bd G3RUH/DF9IC user access at OK0NSU. The frequencies are 438.250 OK0NSU TX and 430.650 OK0NSU RX!

That's it in short! To know more send us email - ok2ucx (at) qsl.net or ok2xdx (at) qsl.net

Bye and 73's - Pavel, OK2UCX and Radek, OK2XDX.
