NOTES
1. Barbadian Nationality
The applicant must produce satisfactory evidence of Barbadian nationality (e.g. passport or birth certificate). If the applicant is under 21 years of age evidence of Barbadian nationality must also be produced in respect of his parents or guardian.
2. Reference
The applicant must produce two references as to character from persons of good reputation who have known him well for a period of normally not less than 5 years and who are themselves of Barbadian nationality. If the applicant is under 21 years of age similar references must be produced in respect of his parent or guardian.
3. Technical qualifications and experience
The applicant must give full details of his technical qualifications and experience. The Government Electrical Engineer must be satisfied that the applicant has an adequate knowledge of basic electricity and of the theory and practice and procedure of wireless communication and is able to send and receive plain English and figures in Morse code at a speed of not less than twelve words per minute.
