My home town Kirkkonummiis located some 20 kilometers west of  Helsinki, the Capital, on the Southern coast of Finland. My locator is KP20GE. You can find me also on the map, since my PC is connected to an APRS server.

I've worked for Nokia since 1990, including two years in China. Currently I'm employed by Nokia Siemens Networks.

I'm a member of Finnish Amateur Radio League (Suomen Radioamatööriliitto ry, SRAL) since 1977. I've had a General Class (CEPT1) licence since 1980, and my call sign is OH2BSC. I'm not really active at the moment, because of other intrests, but maybe when I retire...

One of our family's hobbies is riding two-wheelers. I have currently two bikes, a boxer beemer BMW R100 and a Harley Sportster 833. My wife rides a Vespa PX200 and our younger son has a Honda CBR600F2.  Our older son also has a licence to ride a bike, but no bike of his own (yet).

Our family also likes boating. M/Y Irony was made of steel in 1968, almost 40 years ago. Still floating!

I've  given up M$ and now all my PC's, even my laptop, are running under linux.  Ubuntu is a very easy way to start with Linux. And so much free software to choose, also for radio amateurs. Close the windows and bugs will never fly in anymore. Click the cool penguin to learn more.
