• WW2Y would not do a serious Multi

• Competition from our South was not taken seriously.
• W8JI was a total “dark horse” unknown

• K1ZM (W1BB): 9+ months of (secret) planning; a full week of setup work by K2WI and K1ZM just prior to contest
• W1KM: no significant planning/setup
• W2GD: 5 months obtaining permissions, 3 weekends setting up/tuning antennas
• W8JI: no significant planning/setup
