From late September to early October our family stayed in Crete for two weeks.
As our little son has to go to bed very early and we had to stay at home, I decided to put some radio equipment into the luggage. Also I organized to be hosted in a bungalow, so I could erect the antenna besides the terrace. Unfortunatly the fiberglas mast, which should be the highest point for my G5RV was broken three times, so the highest point was only 5 meters! Of course the location in front of the water helped me to put out a nice signal from an unvisible antenna,hi.
2100 QSOs were made on all 9 HF bands, CW only.
QTH was 1 km east of Malia city.
