This year we desided to go to Fuerteventura, located in the Canary Islands. We visited the north of the island in 1998 during a stay on Lanzarote, but this was only a one day visit, so we came back for more.
Our destination was near Costa Calma in the South of Fuerteventura. The QTH was located directly at the Sotavento beach at Playas de Jandia.
Being very lucky again with the bungalow we have got, the G5RV was installed immediatly. Again the 6m Fiberglass support makes it a lot easier.
Approximatly 1k QSOs were made including 400 contacts within the IARU-HF Championship. If you know the beauty of these beaches, you may understand why I have not made more contacts,hi.
