Ich bin seit 1978 als OE7CWJ lizensiert und interessiere mich seitdem für verschiedenste Betriebsarten oberhalb von 28 MHz.
Beruflich reise ich häufig durch ganz Europa und bin daher am Funk nur gelegentlich von den beiden Heim-QTHs in Wien (OE1CWJ) und Bratislava (OM9AWJ) aus anzutreffen.
Wann möglich nehme ich an VHF/UHF Kontesten teil - meine Hauptinteressen gelten dem DX auf Ultrakurzwelle, digitalen Betriebsarten und dem Betrieb über Amateurfunk-Satelliten. Wenn ich irgendwo unterwegs bin, befindet sich auch meist ein kleiner Transceiver wie das FT817 im Gepäck.
I have been licensed as OE7CWJ in 1978, today the favorite bands are above 28MHz with various rigs and antennas. My job entails frequent travelling which means I'm often not too active from both home QTHs in Vienna, Austria (OE1CWJ) and Bratislava, Slovakia (OM9AWJ).
If the schedule allows, I try to participate operating on VHF/UHF contests. Currently, my main interests are VHF-DX, digital modes and Amateur satellites, occasionally I also take the FT817 on business trips abroad and have operated from various countries.
