Oklahoma has several balloon projects.  These are research platforms which use helium balloons that carry a variety of modes of operation.  Some of the modes are Automatic Position Reporting System (APRS), Cross Band Repeaters, and 2 Meter Beacons.  Below are links to some of the past balloon launches and future launches as well.
