About the country Carinthia :

The country Carinthia lies most south in Austria, bordering to

Italia und Slovenia. Carinthia is the country with the most lakes in Austria

with clear and clean water. The “Wörthersee, Millstättersee a.o.”

are excellent for sailing, swimming und bathing. Carinthia lies

south the mountains “Hohe Tauern” with tops about 3000 m

and north the “Julianischen Alpen and the Karawanken“ with

tops about 2500 m above sea level. Many prepared tracks are

excellent for skiing and snowboarding. Flat paths, cable railways

and funicular railways are helpful for going up the tops of the

mountains, you will find the best viewpoints to look out into the

country. Anyway, you can visit our country all times in the year

you can make holydays und relaxing on much places. If you are

here, call above the repeaters on 2 m or 70 cm, friendly amateurs

will answer you.
