Tower and antennas for sale by NZ1Q

10 ele Log at 70' with 2 el 40 m beam at 80' on 70' aluminum tower. Antennas and tower are currently disassembled on the ground.

3 guy wires used to support the tapered Alu tower. Phillystran is used and is available with the tower.

The antennas are for sale as well:

The Tennadyne, T-10 (lower ant) , element to boom connections are tight. They are bolted through the element to boom. Never had any problems with them. This deems like a sturdy mechanical coupling and makes good electrical contact. I do have the balun you see in the pictures with some 20-30 feet of coax ending in a typical connector. That is included. The T-10 has been used without any matching since the impedance is very near 50 ohms across the frequency range from my experience. I always fed it directly without any matching at either end of the 50 ohm coax.

The antenna is disabled. That is, the boom is apart at the centers, about 12 ft 3 in in length each boom section, there are 4 of those sections since it is a double boom construction. The elements are removed from the boom, but left assembled. The longest elements are 19 ft 2 inches. For transport I would tie all pieces to a roof rack and I think that would be ok.

Installation with top plate and guide bearing, rotor, rotor plate, guy points.

Each antenna is fed directly with 50 ohm coax (coax baluns are used at each feed point.

View up inside tower - clean and straight.

Tapered in 4 sections. Generally two 10' sections per taper.

Nested tower sections for easy transport.
