Belize 2005 Photos

The V31TP multi-op single-transmitter contest DXpedition operated from the Cahal Pech Resort in San Ignacio, Belize.  It is located at the top of a steep hill overlooking the city and with a clear view to the north - perfect for working the US and Canada.  We set up our antennas around the pool deck of the house next door, which is owned by Daniel, the owner of the resort and the cousin of John, WCØW.

Here are some pictures of the resort.  For more info, check out the Cahal Pech Resort web page.  That's Daniel (left) and John eating breakfast after the contest in the restaurant.

We stayed in cabañas adjacent to the owner's property where we set up the antennas.  You can see the deck railing to the right of the cabañas.
