HAM ROCK

July 2000 - Moab Utah

Arches National Park

HAM Rock

There are many rock formations in Arches National Park that have interesting names. This one is called HAM Rock, probably because from certain view points it resembles a canned ham. It seemed that no matter where we went in the park, all you had to do was turn around, and there it was... Ham Rock.

There were antennas there too, I have no idea what these were used for. The larger one looks like a commercial installation, but the smaller one may be an Amateur repeater.
