Neanderthal All-Time-Specials
There are some seals you have to "work" really hard on! On this page you will find some hints to make it a little bit easier.
HAM-Radio Seals
The biggest amateur-radio meeting in Europe is the HAM-Radio hold every June in Friedrichshafen/Lake Constanz. The 10-X Neanderthal Chapter has a booth there to pomote 10-X International Net and Paper-Chasing. If you visit us there, you will receive the HAMRadio Seal. Every year there will be a new one, e.g. 1998 the HAMRadio98 (short HR98). This seals are numbered and collectable.
We have a real "Neanderthaler" there (no, not DJ2YE he lives there today). No, a real OLD-TIMER. Bring your camera along and take a picture. This will count for the Photo-Seal too.
The Check In Seal:
Every sunday we run a net. Local members has to check in 50 times, all others 10 times to receive the "CI1-seal". These seals are numbered and collectable.
Don't worry, the chapter-head takes the track. If you have the CI1 feel free to to go for the CI2.....
The Hunter of the Month:
We start February 1999 with a "Hunter of the Month". Every month the chapter-head will ask a member of the Neandethal-Chapter to be the hunter. It should be a little secret - no one will know it in advance. When you have a QSO with the Hunter of the Month she/he will tell you.
If you had a QSO with the hunter, please let the CM know and you will receive 10 more on-air points. Remeber, every month is a new "Hunter of the Month" out there ......
| Month | Call | Name | NT # |
| February 1999 | KH6OE | Patricia | 115FS |
| March 1999 | ??? |
The Photo Seal:
Watch out! If you are lucky enough you will find a sign with the name "Neandert(h)al" or a picture of one of this old guys. For us local members it is easy to went to the museum and take a picture of ourself in front of a sign. But even in the Australian Outbacks a sign was found really in "the middle of nowhere".
In the future we will past all photos here to show you .....
