The purpose of the church is to elucidate the unique philosophy of ducks in the hope of creating a better understanding between duck and man. The main cannons of 'the philosophy' were given long ago by the "great omnipotent duck" (abbreviated 'god' for short) to the ducks of the world and has been passed down thru the generations for countless thousands of years. For the first time, a summary of this philosophy is being made available to humans.

The Great Teachings

We, the Ducks, are not like men. We are T3 creatures and men are T5 creatures. The Earth element is not present in our makeup and we feel no need to stay on the ground. The open sky calls us and we go - we are free creatures. No one tells us where to go or what to do. The Great Duck has provided us with an electromagnetic navigation system that is better than the GPS system of the humans. We always know where we are and where we've been - and we know how to find some places where we have never been before- all by the grace of the Great Duck.

Humans like to shoot us out of the sky and eat our unborn children. We don't know why this is. In all the recorded history of ducks spanning millions of years, no duck has ever shot a human out of the sky or eaten a humans unborn child. So, we just don't see why humans would want to do this to us.

None of this really bothers us, however. Long ago, when we had our first encounters with humans, the Great Duck appeared to us to deliver his Promise. All ducks have now heard the Promise, and we have no fear.

The Promise of the Great Duck

Unlike man who's afraid to dream,

We DUCKS know life's a continuous stream.

And 'though we may fall from the sky today,

We haven't gone that far away.

And it won't be long 'til we fly again,

Laughing at all those silly men !
