There were 10 in attendance.

Pledge of Allegiance was made by all.

Guests:
Nathan Schaan, KBØSZY became a new member this evening by paying pro-rated dues to the Treasurer. Welcome, Nathan!

Reading of the Minutes:
Minutes of 6/7/06 were approved with one amendment.

Officer’s Reports—Treasurer:
Bob, KB7ADO said the quarterly dividends were added, making for another $52. Holdings are up, and gas is down.

Correspondence:
Bob received 3 cards back from the Field Day announcement. Our Liability Insurance is due in August.

Judi, KD7GZR has the corporation renewal papers for this year, and they require a Registered Agent to be named. Due to a time constraint with the papers having to be in Olympia by June 30th and not all Directors attending tonight, Director Brian, KJ7OX made a motion to have Judi become the new Registered Agent. Motion carried by majority. She replaces the former Registered Agent, Ray NB7Y.

Via email, Marc the Webmaster suggested a donation of $50 be made to Al Waller K3TKJ the Webhost. Bob will draw up a check.

Board of Directors’ Report: No report.

Old Business:
About the 26 repeater, Bob says if you’re over-modulating you’re going to get clipped. It’s too much audio—modify how you talk into your mic.

Ed, N7CFA has all Dave’s information about mowing the field grass and will call him.

Mike, AD7HN will discuss further details about Field Day tonight after the meeting.

Antenna information from Brian: “After our last meeting, Rob put in the 2 standoff’s on the tower. I will hoist up the 80 to get it on the air for Field Day, and might also clip up the tri-bander.”

New Business:  Stu, K7WF attended SEAPAC and says the weather was pretty good. At the banquet, he won the Grand Prize, a Yaesu VX7R quad-band—congratulations, Stu! Attendance was down this year, but they’re planning to have SEAPAC again next year.

Good Of The Order: In Randy’s absence, Wally’s report from the ARES meeting held Tuesday the 20th says, “It was the first meeting held in a while. Discussions centered around the County’s new COMM system and what it means to us with the narrowband switching and the COMM van being converted. Randy had a long discussion with the Sheriff about it and also met with the new DEM director. Today, Randy had turned in a request for radios, ELT equipment, and training materials through the Rizad Foundation. A SAR Council meeting is being held at the same time as our meeting, and Randy’s there.”

Mike says today’s the first day of summer!

Ed spent the last week in Denver and met one ham—there must be more! And, Joe and Carol Ackerman said to tell everyone in the Club “Hi”.

Meeting adjourned 8:05pm

Respectfully submitted,
Judi—KD7GZR
Secretary
