D.A.T.A. ... Datapoint Amateurs and Technicians Association.

Until 1984, there was a mini-computer -- remember those? -- manufacturer in San Antonio, Texas, called 'Datapoint Corp'. Datapoint developed the first commercial Local Area Network known as ARC-Net. ARC-Net is still in use today, but Datapoint died of the combined impact of a big accounting goof and the birth of the PC-XT.

The brown-on-brown printing is hard to read, but from upper left to lower right the pictures are: a beam antenna... the nameplate of a Datapoint 1500 desk-top processor... side view of a Datapoint printer ... macro photo of a Datapoint processor mother board... part of a Datapoint keyboard... the paper guide of a Datapoint 'Freedom' Printer.
