Welcome to My Website!
I am an Amateur Extra licensed radio operator, call sign NA4AL.
I have been an active HAM for about 2 years now, and thoroughly
enjoy the hobby. Forgive the brevity of this page, I intend to
develop this more as I have time.
I am a member of the Birmingham Amateur Radio Club (BARC)
in Bham, AL. I can also be found at the Shelby County Amateur
Radio Club (SCARC).
I am interested and have often been active with local SKYWARN
and emergency preparedness. You can quite often find me hanging
out on my favorite FM repeaters at 146.880- and 444.650+ 131.8Hz
in the local area. On HF, I frequent 20m, especially in the 14.070MhZ
area for PSK31. Say hi some time!
Professionally I am an IT Consultant, specializing in Software
Design and Development, Enterprise System architecture, Database
administration system, security systems, and a myriad of other
activities which take up a lot of my time. Between HAM Radio,
work, and the little bundle of trouble you see to your left here,
I stay pretty busy, but still find time to put up a web page or
two. If that interests you at all, you can seem more about it
in my resume [HTML]
