Pueblo West Amateur Radio Club, Inc. was founded on August 15, 2009 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation registered with the State of Colorado.
Unless otherwise noted, PWARC meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at the Pueblo West Library, 298 S. Joe Martinez Blvd., Pueblo West. Anyone interested in learning about the Amateur Radio hobby and Emergency Communications is welcome to attend our meetings and Ragchews. A ham license in not required for club membership, however only licensed members may vote on club matters.

* Chewing the rag refers to conversation, frequently while sitting around a meal. Hams picked up the usage from telegraphers, and because most of ham radio is conversation, it has been a part of radio from its earliest days.

Membership Dues are as follows: Checks may be written to Pueblo West Amateur Radio Club and sent to Dan Broadbooks, Treasurer, 1078 W. Desert Sage Dr., Pueblo West, CO 81007. Applications are also accepted at our Ragchews and meetings. (Print application or copy form information to an e-mail, fill in your infomation and send to address below.)
