Pueblo West Amateur Radio Club participated in its
first ARRL School Roundup at Skyview Middle School in Pueblo West on
February 18, 2011. Although the student turnout was light, those who
participated were given an overview of amateur radio and talked with
individual and club stations from coast to coast. They commented that
they enjoyed the one-on-one attention they received

David (KY6YYY), Bill (KB0RPD), Paul (KB0JIT), Ed (NI5R), and Andy (NDOP).
The club is planning to expand the event when the
School Roundup is held again in October. |
