Notes

[1]  Any quality microwave diodes will work, like the 1N5711.  Should be in a SMT package.
[2]  Optional bandpass filter, not needed but highly recommended.

It's also possible to slightly increase the preformance of the pre-amplifier by using surface mount porcelain capacitors.

Also be sure to place the input and output matching capacitors in the exact locations as shown in the MAX2641 EVKIT datasheet.
