Feb. 23 2005 - Updates to scanner frequencies posted. I
recently went to FedEx Forum for an ice skating show and found a couple
of frequencies using my OptoElectronics counter. I have also been
scanning with my Motorola FRS/GMRS radio and been finding a lot of
businesses and facilities using FRS and GRMS frequencies. I'll post
them as I identify them.
My sources tell me that Memphis is pretty close to switching their
digital 800mhz trunk system from proprietary VSELP encoding to P25
encoding. When this happens, you should be able to listen to
Memphis with a Uniden digital scanner. Stay tuned.
