This is now my modified homepage courtesy of QSL.NET. I thought of revising the contents of this homepage to project most of the things that I have encountered while enjoying the hobby. Some are pelasant and unforgettable memories while some others are those that I would rather forget with the hope that they will improve and be beneficial to all concerned.

If there is anything that you can contribute, be it for the corrections of whatever is in this page, or to deciminate informations to amateurs and even non-amateurs, you are welcome and you can e-mail me at:

I am the second child in a brood of 11 and all my brothers and sisters are in the United states from San francisco California, to Colorado, Illinois and Wisconsin.

AS A HAM RADIO OPERATOR

I was hooked up to the hobby accidentally when a friend left with me a handheld radio for safekeeping for one week.

There after I started reading about Ham Radio and I took my first examination in the eyar 1983 and got my license as a novice in 1984. I did not stop until I got my Advance class license which is the highest class of lciense in the Philippines. Morse code then was at 15 words per minute. My Philippine call is 4F1FZ.

I became the founding President of the Communicaitons World of Amateurs, Phils., Inc. in 1984 to 1987.

I became the first Corporate Secretary of the Philippine Amateur Radio Association when it became a Federation. I got out in 1988 vowing never to return again to the Board of the national organization,

I took the FCC exaqminations in 1998 until I became an Extra Class licensee in 1999 with my present call. I am very proud to say that I passed the 20 WPM code. My first US call was KB9SSI ultimately becoming N9FZ.
