Threat Condition

The Will County ARES®/SKYWARN net is held every Tuesday evening from 1900 to 2000 local time on the 147.330 MHz repeater in Bolingbrook. Amateur Radio Newsline is featured during the net. Net Control Station is Will County AEC Toni Hamilton, WX9WRN. Contact Toni for more information about the net.

The Will County Office of Emergency Management, in conjunction with The Plainfield Radio League, operates the WW9AE/R repeater on 444.550 MHz (+ in, 114.8 Hz CTCSS). This repeater is used secondary to 147.330 MHz during weather emergencies.

During non-weather-related ARES® operations, the WW9AE/R repeater on 444.550 MHz is the primary repeater used throughout Will County.

The Illinois ARES® net is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 1630 (Central Time) on 3905 kHz.
