What I Enjoy Doing With Ham Radio:

Working DX (usually using CW, PSK31, RTTY, SSB)

Having real QSO's... "Bravo Mike, Your Five Nine, QRZ?" is not my idea
of a real QSO, though if confirmed it does qualify for the DXCC :)

Working on AMRAD LF Projects (read about our license)

"Hey, you must be a ham! You look like the people I see at hamfests in the states!"
(That is me on the right.)

Actually the guy on the left is a bagpipe player I was speaking with in Edinburgh, Scotland on the "Royal Mile."

HF Equipment Used:

If mobile: Yaesu FT-100 HF Mobile Rig with ATAS-100 screwdriver antenna
Icom IC-746 HF Rig (100 watts, usually 40-60 watts on digital modes)
GAP Titan DX HF Vertical (10m - 80m)
AEA (Timewave) PK232MBX upgraded to PK232DSP for RTTY, PACTOR
Digipan for PSK31 using keying circuit with SoundCard
