MJ/K8PT & MJ/K3PLV
Jersey Island

Pete K8PT and Craig K3PLV will be active on Jersey Island March 13th-19th.
Qsl via there respective home calls.

As of 01:100 Z 18 March, I have managed to work both stations twice.
Pete on 10 and 20 meter phone
and Craig also on 10 and 20 meter phone.
Reports of some damaged antennas havent seemed to dull their spirits
and the spots keep showing up on the Summit.

Well the time has come and they are on the island, their radios are working, just waiting to give thousands of qso's away.
And what else happens, we have nimrods tuning up on frequency, do do's yelling "split split", whistlers, whiners, you name it you got it.  This by far is the worst of the worst in amatuer radio.  I cant believe that something so easy can be so hard!!!!!
Look people, these men, and probably a few women, spend alot of time, money and alot of blood and sweat to put these things on, just so the average joe can make a contact to a place that is so rare.  Give these people some respect, which they rightiously deserve.

Well thats my two dits, good luck in the pileups.
