The MICON Packet Report Form contains all of the features of the Basic form, with the added capability of transmitting the severe weather reports directly to the National Weather Service via Packet Radio. This is accomplished by connecting to K8DTX-5 on 145.76 Mhz and transmitting the data. This packet program allows an operator to select different Digipeater paths to the NWS. The download is available at K1DE's Web site.
The MICON Key Station Guideline document is for county key station operators who are communicating with the National Weather Service during MICON net activations. The information and suggestions outlined in this guideline have proven to be very effective in the operation of the nets. Detailed information is available at K1DE's Web site.
The ARRL RADIOGRAM form is laid out identical to the paper form and allows an operator to quickly enter correctly formatted message information. After the information is entered it can be printed, saved electronically in chronological order, or transmitted via Packet Radio. The download is available at K1DE's Web site.
The MSP-EMD Flash Report form is laid out similar to the paper form (EMD-22) and allows an operator to quickly enter correctly formatted message information. After the information is entered it can be printed, saved electronically in chronological order, or transmitted via Packet Radio. The download is available at K1DE's Web site.
