Here I will list clubs and organizations, some even use other modes of operation!  Clubs and organizations are a great way to meet others and learn new operating techniques.  Most clubs have contests, that's a good way to improve your CW skills too.  Check out sites below for such events.

The West Valley Amateur Radio Club is located in the Sun Cities area and is dedicated to anyone with interest in Amateur Radio.  We have monthly Club meetings with very interesting topics and a news letter goes out to all members.  Click on the logo and visit the site so you to can become a member of this great club.

 

  The Fists Club is dedicated to the encouragement and use of CW.  Our goals are to further the use of Morse Code, to engender friendships among our members, and to encourage newcomers to use Morse Code.    The ARRL is a noncommercial association of radio amateurs, organized for the promotion of interest in Amateur Radio communications and experimentation, for the establishment of networks to provide communication in the event of disasters or other emergencies, for the advancement of the radio art and of the public welfare, for the representation of the radio amateur in legislative matters, and for the maintenance of fraternalism and a high standard of conduct.  I am proud to be a member of the ARRL, stop by and check out the web site.

 

CROATIAN TELEGRAPHY CLUB  (N7RD CTC #88)

On the 12th December 2001. several active radio amateur old timers,  lovers of telegraphy, founded the Croatian Telegraphy Club - CTC. The new Club welcomes membership applications from telegraphy lovers from all parts of the world. The only requirement for prospective members of CTC is that CW should be their main or only mode of operation on the amateur bands. The only cost is 1 US Dollar (cash) or 1 IRC, which is a contribution towards postage charges. However, if membership application is submitted by E-mail, there no fee is required. It  is the Club's principle of supporting CW which is far more important than any financial consideration. In order to become a member of CTC, send your application, quoting call sign, date of birth and (where possible) E-mail address to :

CTC Suggested Meeting Frequencies: 3.530 - 7.015 - 14.030 - 21.030 - 28.030

Rules of CTC are as follows :

 1) CTC is an association with free membership for telegraphy lovers across the world.

 2) The only requirement is that members be active radio amateur CW operators.

 3) The aims of CTC are to support and promote CW as an active mode, to teach new telegraphy operators and to increase the numbers of CW operators on the amateur bands.

 4) CTC will, from time to time, organize activity periods and contests.

 5) CTC will have only a chairman and one secretary.

 6) A membership number will be issued to every member, which they will be able to quote on QSL cards, letters etc.

 7) The Club logo is an image of a hand key with the text "Croatian Telegraphy Club".

 8) The CTC can have a stamp like an amble. A rubber "CTC logo" stamp will be available to members.

 9) Although there is no membership fee, voluntary contributions can be made (towards the costs of organizing activity periods, contests etc)

10) The 12th December 2001. is the inauguration date of CTC and on this date each year members can celebrate its "Birthday" by their activity on the CW section of the radio amateurs bands.

 

  Ten-Ten International is a club that has been around a long time and promotes the use of ten meters.  My 10-10 number is 44933 hope to work you soon on 10.  Would you like to join 10-10?  Here is what you need.

1.  You must hold a valid amateur operator license.

2.  Your valid amateur operator license MUST authorize or qualify you for unsupervised transmitting operations in the ten meter amateur band under your own personal call sign.

3.  You must make contact with ten members of 10-10 and submit a log listing all contacts, their 10-10 number, call sign, name, date of contact, and QTH (State/Province/Country)

4. You must remit dues for one or more years full membership.  Fee schedule and payment information along with new member application can be found on our web site by just clicking on the 10-10 logo.

 

  INDEXA is established to promote good will and fellowship among all radio amateurs in the world via their amateur radio hobby. They work with all National and International groups and Associations to provide radio equipment for the deserving amateurs throughout the world, and to support DX-ing in whatever manner will give the greatest enjoyment for the most people.  To check into this organization click on the logo and see for yourself.  N7RD is member number 3777 and very proud to be associated with them.

 

GACW is a CW radio group out of Argentina that I have recently joined.  They have contests and help promote the use of Morse Code on the bands.  Any group that encourages the use of Morse Code can't be a bad group of folks.  Click on the logo and do check out this group, think you will like them and what they stand for.
