This is my '89 Jeep Cherokee. It has gotten me into and out of more places than I can remember. It got me out of a few places that I probably should never have gotten into! The horizontal VHF antennas are just visible in the upper right corner of the picture. (Here is a close-up of the antennas.)
Jeeps are really a well made vehicle. A lot of "wan-a-be" 4x4 vehicles are appearing on the market, trying to grab a piece of the so called "sport utility vehicle" market. With almost 90K miles, it has yet to have any major work done on it. It is so well built that the front end has yet to need an alignment. I did have to have the brakes reworked at about 75K miles....they had about 10% of the pads remaining. Around Sept. '97, I bought my wife Donna KB7SMT, a '95 Cherokee.. (Her's is a nice forest green color.) Don't be fooled my a cheap imitation 4x4 vehicle. Spend the money and get a Jeep!
