The Yaesu FT-530 is shown mounted in the HT holder (from a FT-470). The PTT for the HT is adjacent to the right grip shift. The cycle computer is mounted next to the PTT switch.

The homemade lighting system works very well. The base was salvaged from a cheap Cateye 2 watt light. The light housing (a bit larger than I wanted) had its start in the Home Depot electrical section. The original 20 watt bulb and reflector were removed and a tighter beamed MR-11 bulb was put into the housing. For less than $20, I can live with it!

A short flexible dual-band antenna makes it easy to swing your leg over the bike. Then antenna is at the rear of the bike rack. The muti-LED blinking rear light is attached to the rear of the reflector, just below the antenna.
Premier SPM-400 Earphone/Boom Mic

The Premiere SPM-400 is a small and lightweight unit. It is shown above, on the seat of my bike.

This is the temporary mounting setup until I get a battery bag to mount on the frame. A small plastic box, located just forward of the batter, houses the 20 amp inline fuse, the headlight switch, and electrical connectors for the light and radio.
