The resurrection of the 448.850 repeater in Pahrump, Nevada has begun! It is currently on a low antenna (40 feet) with 9913 for feedline..very lossy :-(
As time permits the feedline and antenna will be replaced.

Commercial companies are paying millions of dollars for frequncy pairs. It is Vital that we Hams protect our most valuble resource - Our Frequencies. The NTIA has recently Sold a large portion of the government bands to the commercial world. By 2008, all of government VHF and UHF radio systems will have been replaced with 12.5 Khz narrow band systems. It is only a matter of time for the FCC to impose the same requirement on commercial radio users. The next step would be the Selling of our precious frequncies.
