Hello everyone, welcome to the Portland Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network Project (PDX-AREDN-Project).

The PDX-AREDN-Project is a group of Amateur Radio Operators (HAMs) who are working together to promote Mesh Networking in Portland Metro area using commercial hardware by Ubiquiti and open source software developed by the AREDN development team.

The primary objective of the PDX-AREDN-Project is to learn and share information about RF mesh technologies and applications needed in support of Emergency Communications (ECOMM).

Anyone interested in AREDN is welcome to participate; it is not necessary to have AREDN equipment or experience.  If you have AREDN gear, however, and need help getting it configured and on-the-air, please bring it.  Our meetings will provide an excellent opportunity to learn-by-doing, build camaraderie, and have fun!

If you are interested in finding out more about this topic, please feel free to call Scott, N7DOD at 503-473-7251 or [email protected] for information.
