Here are links to the great equipment
manufacturers I run in the mobile rig:
Now, a word about the antennas. Both VHF and HF antennas are made by Amateur Radio Operators with comparatively small operations. I must say, its not the size of the company, its the QUALITY of the product! My "manual" BandHopper is serial #7. I have been running this antenna for around 10 years with no problems. It has been back to the factory in Clancy, Montana once for an "update" to the design. Ben WA7BEF does a great job and is very knowledgeable. I have been running my KB6KQ Halo 6M & 2M antennas for nearly a year now. I can't say enough about the craftsmanship of these antennas. They have been in service on my vehicles the entire time and have stood up to the Montana winter just fine. The performance of these Halos are great! I routinely work vy weak Es openings and MS bursts while mobile. Norm KB6KQ is knowledgeable and very helpful. I give my highest recommendation to both of these antenna products and their respective manufacturers! Bob N7CZ |
