Back into commercial two way radio, I designed and built this comm shelter for Jim's Radio in El Centro. Located on Black Mountain, it is also the home of the WA6LAW 147. 28/88 repeater maintained by Larry, WA6LAW and I. |

This is the antenna system for the repeaters, I really like the performance of the Decibel Products DB-413. I have used them commercially and for my UHF Amateur repeater. |

This is the UHF receiver multi-coupler built by EMR Corporation in Phoenix, AZ. Great people there at EMR and a very well built product. |

This is one half of the conventional repeater racks. All of the 100 Watt transmitters are combined using EMR's Transmitter Combiners. |

This is a three channel LTR UHF trunked repeater system that I built using Tait 100 watt repeater stations. You can see the EMR transmitter combiners in the top of the rack. |

When this photo was taken I had been with IID Energy for about two years. That is Riley Hollingsworth on my right, taken in the hallway at ARRL Headquarters. |

A view I will never forget, W1AW in Newington. I was able to visit the station while attending a course in Power Line Interference detection and mitigation. |

During my visit I did get to operate one of the several stations at W1AW, it was great fun and a memory I will never forget. Every Ham should get to visit ARRL Headquarters and W1AW at least once in your life! |
