N5NJ's AH-1 and AH-2 " Amp Handlers"

Increase the amplifier relay power capacity of your radio while protecting it's internal switching circuitry.

The AH-1 will switch amplifier T-R relays rated up to 75v @ 4 amps (Most modern Amplifiers)

The AH-2 will switch amplifier T-R relays rated up to 120v @ 1/2 amp (SB-200, SB-220 etc.)

If your radio can supply +12v on transmit connect the radio RCA plug to the switched 12v.

Plug the amplifier RCA plug into the amplifier's relay control jack.

If your radio only supplies a contact closure or transistor driver (FT-847, FT-736R etc.), then remove the supplied orange wire nut, and connect +12V to the red wire and ground to the black wire.

Custom cable construction for your installation is available for an additional $20, $15 if you supply the unique connector for your radio (DIN connectors etc.)
