2.4.0 START UP
NOTE: Galil motion controller card is preinstalled and ready for use
a. Unpack items from shipping containers
b. Set up computer per manufacturer’s instructions
c. Be sure computer is off before continuing
d. Attach computer to servo cable. System is provided with 2 servo control unit to machine case cables. Also included is one bulkhead connector. In most normal installations, the machine case will reside inside the altitude chamber. The 8-foot cable will connect from the machine case to the bulkhead connector. The 2-foot cable will connect from the bulkhead connector to the servo control unit.
e. Connect the supplied AC power cable
f. Turn on power to the servo control unit.
NOTE: At this point, very little or no movement should occur in the machine case. If it does, turn off the power of the servo control unit, shut down the computer using standard methods, and verify cabling.
