  • When I was 4, we moved to Johnstown, Pennsylvania, along the tracks of the PRR. (we actually lived about 25 feet from the main line tracks in Johnstown) After a year or so, we could actually sleep without "hearing" the locomotives start up the grade to Altoona. Then the diesels came!!!!
