           Senior engineer for a worldwide installation of commnications and fileservers for the US Army involving experience with the latest NetWare,  Microsoft  and Citrix Winframe technologies.

 

                Indentify problem areas and provide new methods in streamlining current implementation procedures.

 

           Re-evaluate clients Network infrastructure and recommend improvements to meet the need of a growing network.  Design, implement recommended necessary changes and provide support after implementation.

                  Responsible as a hardware project manager for implementation of a customized client-server medical application software under Windows NT 4.0. Resolve all hardware/software issues on the project.  Track budget, schedule and all procurement activities related to the project.

                Supervise all aspect of a 1200 user LAN/WAN NT, Novell 3.x, 4.x network. Designed new Novell 4.1, 4.11 and NT 4.0 networks for new projects. Setup, install and support users on Novell and NT workstations. Supervise contractors for cabling,  power distribution design for newly acquired companies by the corporation. Work extensively with routers, switches, hubs and verifying T1, ISDN connections to each of the sites.

                  Responsible for  maintaining and administering 1000 user token ring network. As a team of network engineers we performed 700 user rollout for Windows 95,  NT workstation. We improved existing servers performance by re-designing the network through performance analysis.  We added new  Windows NT LAN system, setup Windows NT server, DHCP server, DNS server, Microsoft IIS server,  worked with local  ISP to setup connectivity to the internet and setup Firewall protection. Resolved connectivity issues with various application software including  IBM AS400 and Unix systems.

                  Responsible for  solving engineering integration problems of both hardware and software.  Setup, install, train and support Novell Netware 3.12, 4.1, 4.11 and Microsoft NT 3.51 & 4.0 network server and workstations. Implement Windows NT3.51, NT 4.0 servers, DHCP servers, DNS servers, Microsoft IIS server and connectivity to the internet using local and national Internet Service Providers.

                Responsible for managing, administrating HP 9000, Novell Netware 3.1x networking systems.    Resolved hardware and software issues related to all aspects of the networks.  Support end users in all their application problems and teach structured classes on network operating system and end user applications.

 

                  Responsible for all software design, documentation, debug on multiple operating system(UNIX, DOS, WINDOWS) in C/C++, Visual Basic, HpBasic, Pascal for new manual and ATE(automated test equipments). Task involved writing all drivers, creating GUI and also writing system level software and scripts to fully automate test systems. Generated software for remote access of flight test data from flight test computers  during LIVE testing in all environmental condition required by customer.
