Do More With Less Power!!!

QRP operation is a fascinating part of the amateur radio hobby!!

Have you worked the world with 5 Watts or less?

QRP operation is considered to be the operation of an amateur radio station with 5 watts or less of transmitter power. It has become an exciting endeavor for the ham operator, and is a challenge to the skills of even the best amateurs.

Equipment  is readily available for QRP operation; you can purchase a brand-new rig such as the Yaesu FT-817, which will operate from 160m to 70 cm, excluding 1.25 m.
