The Saline County Amateur Radio Club meets the second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. The location is The Whispering Pines Complex in Benton, Arkansas. If you are in the area, I hope to see you there. Every One is Welcome.

HAMFESTS, CONVENTIONS, TAILGATE PARTIES,

Tailgate Parties
The NWAARC will hold monthy tailgate parties just before each meeting during the summer months beginning in May.
The tailgating begins at 6:30 PM and the regular meeting at 7:30 PM each second Friday night of the month.
There will also be some tailgating allowed at the 15 minute break period just before the program each month.

Hot Springs, ARKANSAS
When: July 25 & 26, 1997
The Clarion Resort On The Lake is surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains and located on beautiful Lake Hamilton. Hot Springs and the Clarion Resort On The Lake are ideal partners for a conference.
The hotel offers meeting and banquet facilies for up to 450 people. Located at the hotel is a boat ramp for launching your boat to Lake Hamilton, and offers water equipment rentals for guests.
The room rate will be $85.00 single/double occupancy.
Hot Springs is conveniently accessible from I-30 via scenic U.S. Hwy 70 or 270, and from I-40 via National Scenic Arkansas Hwy 7. An excellent airport facility for private aircraft is located close to the hotel. Commercial air travel is provided into Little Rock, approximately 50 miles northeast of Hot Springs. The Hot Springs Shuttle operates several trips daily to and from the Little Rock airport for $20 person. As an option one may chose one of the many rental car options available.
Hot Springs offers 31 family attractions for your enjoyment.
