In May The Saline County Amateur Radio Club conducted a yard sale which netted over 600 dollars toward the purchase of a repeater to replace our current 15 year old machine.

At the club meeting on July 8 the club had a Speghetti Supper with all of the trimmings. It was well attended. The Cover charge went toward the repeater fund. A big THANK YOU to all who attended. There was a good crowd and a good time was had by all.

The Saline County Amateur Radio Club Reciently Participated in the National Field Day. This is a test sponsored by the American Radio Relay League in which Radio Clubs nationwide participate. The test lasted twentyfour hours. During the contest the club operated at a park in Benton, Arkansas making contacts with all fifty states using generator power with simple antennas.



The Saline County Amateur Radio Club Meets at the Whispering Pines Complex the second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. All ham radio operators and especially visitors are welcome. Hope to see you there.

The Saline County Amateur Radio Club conducts FCC Amateur Radio testing at the Saline County Complex on Edison Avenue in Benton, Arkansas the third saturday of each month. Prior registration is not required. Walk ins are welcome.
