The UMAC is the Utah
Mountain Autopatch Club. This is a group of amateur operators that
donate towards the operation, maintenance and utility expenses of the Utah
Mountain repeaters and their autopatches. A once a year donation
towards gives on the full use of the autopatches. This donation is
not a set fee, and you are responsible for when it is time to donate again
for another year. You must agree to abide by the rules of the autopatch,
which are governed by Part 97 of the FCC's rules and regulations that cover
the Amateur Radio Service. Before joining the UMAC, understand that
you are not buying a service. You are simply donating towards the
expenses of the N4DTR
Utah Mountain amateur radio operations, and in return you get to use the
systems to their fullest.
