"Up Whar Corn Is A Food, A Drink, And A Lifestyle."

Greetings friends and fellow amateurs...

My name is Eddie and I am a recent early retiree from local law enforcement, due to medical reasons. I now enjoy operating 2-meter ham radio and tinkering on the computer... My primary on-the-air activities are through the facilities of the 147.000+ repeater located in Blountville, Tennessee, owned and operated by W4CBX Mr.Gary "Cebux" Hudson... Thoroughly enjoy checking in daily on the 'NUTT-NETT' (check out my net certificate below)... Enjoy checking in to the early morning drivetime net operated by W4HRT and listening to all the road-kill and rabbit scattering reports... Am currently studying for my upcoming upgrade to 'General class or beyond...

I am bound and determined to learn that elusive Morse code this winter.. Although I am not a devout user of CW or HF, I do sincerely believe in the value of both to amateur radio, and my wish is they it will be left intact for those who do enjoy it and use it.. CW is a proven mode of communication , when all else fails.. Also I think I can recognize a distress call whenever I hear one and I truly believe that all amateurs should learn to at least distinguish an S.O.S.

My current QTH is the Northwesternmost quadrant of the lustruss city of Mountain City, high on the hill overlooking the sanitary landfill. Its a pure pleasure in mid summer sittin on the porch inhaling the wafting breezes. Also a dandy place for target practice using the 22 on the rats.

Well thats about it for now fellow HAMsters, will add on more as the water passes under the bridge.. Y'all Come on back real soon now, ya hear?

Me and the Mizzuz believe that they ort not to be no expense spared when it comes to the open roadways and cowpaths. Awww yez, they ain't nuthing like hitting a freshly graveled highway with four pretty good recaps under you, yer favorite hog laying in the floorboard beside you, a big chew of Beechnut in yer cheek, and the pungent smell of leaking brake fluid in yer nostrils. Heaven's just a back-fahr away!
