Environment: LOGRCHK is designed to run from a DOS window or machine against a CW radio log in ascii format. Purpose: LOGRCHK may be used to validate your master.dta file. It will show what calls in your log were not found in master.dta. This could indicate- 1) The master file should be updated. 2) The call could have been copied incorrectly. INPUTS: The program expects three inputs: 1) the path/filename of your log file. 2) the column calls begin in your ascii log. 3) the path/filename of your *ascii master file. If you do not input the three parms above following 'logrchk', you will be prompted. OUTPUTS: An indicator of every tenth line read from your log will be written to the screen. Calls in your log which are NOT in the master file will be written to file UNIQUE.DAT. INVOCATION: Start the program by entering 'logrchk'- where logrchk.exe is pathed or in your immediate dos directory. 73, Howie N4AF * Note: If your logging program d/n support conversion of your master.dta file to ascii, you will need to access ftp://ftp.jzap.com/pub/k2mm/mas_k2mm/ a2dta.exe dta2a.exe files.
