Getting Started

   WinAprs -- Getting started. These should be the minimum settings
              required to get up and running.

Settings Menu:

 Station;
  Callsign= Your callsign
  Latitude= Your Latitude, click on North
  Longitude= Your Longitude, click on west
  UTC= Your offset (-5)
  Staion Icon= [-] for QTH,House
  Power= Your Power
  Ant Height= Your height above average terrain
  Ant Gain= Your ant gain (maximum value is 9)
  Directivity= ant direction (omni = 0)

 APRS;
  Posit Comment= A comment like City,State, or E-mail
  Station Timeout= How long a station icon remains after last received packet
   Warning Radius= Distance to play  warning sound when another station approaches
  Danger Radius= Similar to Warning Radius

 Serial Port;
  VHF= serial port number and baud rate

 TNC;
  Click on button for your TNC type
  Unproto=Wide,Wide or Callsign,Wide if you know your local digi's call

 Open VHF TNC;  You should be set, unless you have a difficult tnc in which
 case you may need to change other settings under tnc or tnc type.
