Protocol for NTS Digital Stations
VHF Connections
This exact protocol is specific to NTS Digital station N3QA. The procedure is the same for any WinLink station. N3QA operates on 145.050 MHz packet radio from Chestertown, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore. Stations that cannot connect on a direct path, can access N3QA through the NEBALT node (KE3GP-8) port 1 or through the BALTO node, which are also on 145.050 MHz or via any other node with a good path to those nodes.
Note that on WinLink stations there is a special command for listing NTS traffic that is still pending. The command is not found on most packet BBS software.

The LT command to List Traffic is also available. The LT command lists all NTS traffic including those messages which have already been forwarded but have not been archived.
