Rally New York announces two events of Rally New York Rallycross Series. The events will take place on two Sundays, October 10, 2004 and November 21, 2004 at the Concord Resort in Monticello, New York. Monticello, New York is located in spectacular Sullivan County only ninety expressway miles northwest of New York City.
Sanction: National Auto Sport Association
Format: Six to eight timed runs over a twisty course marked with red plastic pylons. Cars start at one-minute intervals.
Scoring: Cumulative time from all runs except the time from the worst run will be disregarded. Five second penalty for hitting a pylon.
Course: Several hundred yards long with gravel and grass surface.
Drivers: Any driver with a valid drivers license is welcome. All drivers must wear an AUTOMOBILE helmet with Snell 95 or newer rating. No motorcycle helmets are allowed. The organizers are particularly interested in
- Drivers who never drove competitively but are interested in testing their skills on a short twisty course
- Current and future New York Rally marshals and organizers who want to try competitive driving
- Licensed rally drivers, co-drivers not required
Passengers: Passengers are allowed. All passengers must wear an AUTOMOBILE helmet with Snell 95 or newer rating and must sign a waiver. Passenger do not pay entry fee.
Cars: Any roadworthy, licensed, registered and insured automobile with a steel roof. All cars must pass a technical inspection by NASA scrutineer. Rally cars must have a valid logbook issued by NASA, CARS or SCCA.

- Four-wheel drive road cars
- Two-wheel drive rally cars
- Four-wheel drive rally cars
Entry Fee: $125, which includes a buffet dinner for one person
Schedule: Registration and technical inspection 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Mandatory drivers briefing 11:00 AM
Competition starts 11:30 AM
