On
Sunday May 2, Amateur Radio Operators from the Hudson Valley provided Public
Safety & Emergency Communications for the 2004 MS Walk at Vassar College.
Communications for this event were coordinated by the MBARC. The weather was not
the best in the early morning, but the rain held off and everyone had a good
time. There were 138 walkers, and approximately $37,000. was raised to help
fight MS.
I would like to thank the following
operators for donating their Sunday morning for such a worthwhile cause, THANKS
KC2MFP Carl,
WB2UWU Finn, Lilli (Finn's Wife, no call sign YET)
AA2MK Tim,
KB2ZE Don, N2ZKX Rich
KB2HAP Dan, KC2MXA

Many Thanks You All Did
Great Work!
Special Thanks go to my
darling wife Eileen, for being so understanding when it comes to Amateur Radio &
Public Service. My wife knows how important this is to me and didn't make a
fuss......even though May 2 is our wedding anniversary.
Eileen you're the
best......I LOVE YOU!
