weather pager
This is a Motorola Minitor (not Minitor II) pager on 162.400 MHz. Makes a great SKYWARN pager. It monitors the National Weather Service transmitter in your area all day long without making a sound until it hears the severe weather alert tone. Then it pages you and then lets the bulletin come through automatically for you to hear. Hit the reset button and you're back to silent monitoring. Press and hold reset button anytime to hear audio temporarily. Worked great last time it was tested, but I am no longer able to test these units since the pager batteries went bad. There are generic batteries available at these locations:

batterysupplier.com

Amazon.com

You could also contact the following companies and ask if they have the needed batteries:

G and G Communications

PW Service

Comes with charger/audio amplifier. $40 + shp.

Same as unit described above, except on 162.525 MHz, originally assembled to receive transmissions from the Norwich, NY NWR transmitter. $40 + shp.

coax
used Times Microwave LMR-400 coax lengths for sale: This is high-grade 50-ohm VHF+ coax. There are reverse polarity N connectors installed (also called RP-N) which do not fit any of the amateur radio N sockets here at home. The center pin is not a pointed solid pin, but rather a hollow cylinder shape, about the same diameter as the center pin on most female N's (and that's why they won't connect to each other). See photo. These connectors are manufactured by Kings Electronics with a part number of 2225-1-9 which I was not able to find on their website (perhaps it got discontinued). Since these connectors likely cannot be used for ham radio, I am not charging for them, although they are professionally installed with heat shrink tubing. The intended use of these coax lengths is to cut off the connectors and make your own jumpers, unless you can use them on legacy wireless Internet hardware (WiFi). These cables are in very good to excellent condition, and I verified that they have no continuity between center and shield. They were used at my workplace for an indoor 802.11a WiFi system on 5 GHz years ago and stayed in dry storage since. Lengths are

5 ft $ 4 + $5 shipping
