Dayton Hamvention® - the world's largest amateur radio gathering.
USNO Master Clock - The Official Source of Time for the Department of Defense and the Standard of Time for the United States.
Sound Card Packet Radio - Why by a TNC when you already have one built into your computer? Can use the stereo feature of the soundcard to interface with 2 radios. Note: it will not work with most Packet programs, download one of the recommended programs. You'll also need a fairly fast Pentium processor and at least 64 megs of ram. Will not work with DOS or Windows 3.1
NCDXF/IARU International Beacon Network - A worldwide HF CW beacon network. Operating on 14.100, 18.110, 21.150, 24.930 and 28.200 MHz these beacons, at eighteen locations accross the globe, allow you tell what condition the ionosphere is in. All beacons operate at 100 watts and use Cushcraft R-5 vertical antennas. There are lists and links to programs to download so you will know which beacon is transmitting at any time. If you operate HF you should find this useful!
SatScape - A very nice, freeware satellite tracking program for Windows. If you need to track satellites I think you'll find this useful. Has many features, give it a try.
SM3GSJ Roger Hedin's Homepage - A freeware program to make Great Circle maps from any location in the world. Can also be used to make grid square maps. Great program!

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) - When is the last time you spoke to someone orbiting the Earth? The ISS can be heard on 143.625 MHz (listen only) on nothing more than an HT. You'll hear mostly Russian but I have heard English spoken once or twice. For now amateur operations will take place on the 2 meter band on the following frequencies...
Worldwide voice/packet downlink: 145.800 MHz
Worldwide packet uplink: 145.990 MHz
Region 1 voice uplink: 145.200 MHz
Region 2 and 3 uplink: 144.490 MHz
Region 1: Africa, Europe, Russia, Middle East (excluding Iran), and Mongolia
