Multipurpose ISA Interface

I have an idea for a multipurpose ISA interface.

Make several 8 bit output-only registers available from the bus with latching output buffers. Make several 8 bit read-only registers available from the bus. From this you can make several cool things such as:

Logic analyzer(like 32 1 bit lines)
Cheap Oscilloscope
Sound Card :)
Signal generator
Programmer
Emulator

Pretty neat, huh?
